The Platform

Plattformen är en spanskspråkig film med en skräckthrillergenre. Berättelsen kretsar kring livet i det vertikala fängelsesystemet.

Berättelsen öppnas av de stekta karaktärerna som vaknade i betongceller märkta med nummer 48.

Hans encelliga vän, Trimagasi, förklarade att de var i ett torn-stil fängelse där mat skickades genom en plattform som flyttade från topp till botten genom ett stort hål i golv och tak.

De som bor i det övre rummet, har förmågan att ta en hel del matportioner och i gott skick.

Under tiden, ju mer ner fången är mindre mat som folket kvar ovan. De tillbringade bara matrester från det översta rummet.

Rummet värmdes upp eller kyldes tills fångarna dör om de försöker lagra maten efter att plattformen har lämnat sin nivå.

Varje månad tilldelas fångar till en ny nivå, och varje fånge får bära ett objekt med sig.

Filmen hade premiär på Toronto International Film Festival 2019, där han vann People's Choice Award för Midnight Madness. I TIFF får filmen även ett streamingavtal tillgängligt över hela världen med Netflix.
